Book Week 2023

Book Week commenced with an exciting ‘Live Window’ celebration. Each class from Reception to Year 6 brought a beloved storybook to life with dressing up, performances and activities.

There were teddy bears enjoying picnics, a farmer and his chickens, a snoozing museum security guard, scary trolls, mad scientists, magical wizards, singing frogs and more! The excitement was infectious as students embodied their beloved literary figures.

As a special treat, students got to visit other classes and see what their peers were up to. It was a day of discovery, where everyone shared their enthusiasm for reading and storytelling.

Plympton International College’s Book Week celebration reminded us of the magic of literature. It was evident that storytelling continues to captivate young hearts and minds, reminding us of the enduring power of books.
