On the 7th of July, our Reception students celebrated their first 100 Days of School. The momentous occasion was marked with many special activities. The Reception students were well supported by members of our Year 7 Student Representative Council (SRC), who did a remarkable job of demonstrating our school values.
The SRC helped the reception students to decorate a banner commemorating the occasion before a highly anticipated shared lunch which was made possible thanks to the generous contributions of the reception parents.
The Reception students enjoyed making fruit loop necklaces, completing activities to learn to count to 100, and recounting their experience of the first 100 Days of School. Lunch, learning and sport were some of the favourite moments highlighted by our youngest students.
The celebrations culminated in a group gathering on the oval where the entire Reception/Year 7 cohort came together to form a ginormous 100.
After the festivities, the students returned to their classrooms and lessons to continue their growth as learners and future change-makers. We wish all of our students the best in the next 100 Days and beyond and look forward to supporting them on their learning journey.
