$14.5 Million Capital Works Underway
We are excited to share that construction has officially begun on a significant $14.5 million infrastructure upgrade, jointly funded by the Department for Education and Plympton International College.
This once-in-a-generation investment will enhance learning, wellbeing and community spaces across our R–12 site, with works continuing through to the end of 2026. These upgrades will deliver world-class environments that reflect the quality, innovation and ambition that define our College.
Key Features Include
A brand-new R–12 library, designed to be the heart of learning, collaboration and curiosity
Two contemporary Food Technology kitchens with industry-standard appliances
A dedicated Gaming and Animation suite to support digital creativity and future-focused learning
Refurbished Technologies facilities that promote design thinking and hands-on innovation
Year 7 and Year 8 Pavilions to strengthen belonging in the middle years
A Boardroom, Wellbeing and Prayer Room, and a range of new Collaboration Spaces for students and staff
A brand-new Canteen, with the current canteen to be demolished at the end of 2026 to make way for a beautiful new Green Piazza
Tennis courts and a Kitchen Garden, proudly fundraised by our Governing Council and Parents & Friends Association
Additional accommodation to support enrolment growth and upgrades to specialist learning areas
Maintaining Learning During Construction
Our staff are committed to ensuring minimal impact or distraction to your child’s learning throughout the construction process. We are fortunate to have suitable existing spaces that will be used during this period before students move into the new facilities.
Where required, some classes may temporarily relocate to ensure all students continue learning in calm, safe and engaging environments.
The oval will remain accessible and can be used as normal.
Sports Day will continue to be hosted on college grounds in 2026.
