Students of all ages came together to participate in Plympton International College’s inaugural R-12 Sports Day at SA Athletics Stadium.
The event was a joyous, colourful display of teamwork and fun, with students demonstrating many key values, including contributing positively to the life of the school, being a supportive learning community that celebrates success, challenging ourselves to be our personal best, and trying new things, taking risks, reflecting and learning from mistakes.
After a warm welcome from Principal Amy Whyte, loud and enthusiastic chants rang out around the stadium for house teams Brixton, Birkalla, Camden and Morphett.
Students dressed in their brightest house colours to cheer and compete in novelty and track and field events.
Sports Day concluded with the R-12 relay, where students in each year level represented their team and raced to the finish line.
Congratulations to all the students and thank you to the staff and volunteers for their wonderful efforts.
