Lunar New Year

Plympton International College celebrated Lunar New Year on an unseasonably cool and blustery February afternoon.

Students and guests enjoyed welcoming the Year of the Rabbit with a lion dance, performances by the Bilingual Choir and an address from Principal Amy Whyte.

There was a photo booth, face painting, red envelope wishing and fundraising activities. Yummy meals, snacks and bubble tea were supplied by local food trucks, creating a festive and fun atmosphere.

Plympton International College is proud to be South Australia’s only Chinese bilingual school. Celebrating Lunar New Year gives our students a greater appreciation and understanding of Chinese culture, helping them to prepare for living and working in an increasingly globalised world.

Happy Lunar New Year!
