Our Resource Centre provides print, multimedia and online resources to support the teaching program of the school, as well as services that encourage and support the development of reading and information literacy skills. The library's collection consists of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, selected primarily to meet the curriculum requirements of the students.

There is a bank of computers for class or individual use offering access to the Internet and personal files. Photocopying, printing and scanning facilities are available. The library catalogue can be accessed through the school Intranet from all computers in the school.

Junior School classes visit the Resource Centre for weekly browsing and borrowing, instruction sessions, Resourced Based Learning and individual research.

Opening Hours

  •  Before school : 8.30 - 8.45am
  •  Recess : closed
  •  Lunch : temporarily closed due to redevelopment
  •  After school : 3.05 - 3.20 pm

Adequate room is provided for individual, quiet study as well as group and class instruction.


Plympton International College is very proud of the achievements of our students in our Tech Studies workshop. Students from Years 8 to 12 progressively learn a variety of skills using a wide range of tools and machinery. Our curriculum centres around Woodwork, Metalwork and Electronics projects.

As students move through their year levels, the complexity of projects tackled and machinery introduced to them increases, with much attention paid to safety training. Here is an indication of Hand & Power Tools / Equipment the students will be introduced to:

Woodwork - Years 8 to 10

Multi-Sport Gymnasium

Plympton International College has an extensive range of sporting facilities for all students from Reception through to Year 12. Our fully equipped indoor Gymnasium is perfect for sports and physical education in all weather conditions including:

We have quality tennis courts and a multi-purpose hard court, giving students access to an outstanding facility. Reception to Year 5 students also undertake water safety and swimming classes annually.


The school canteen is operated by the Governing Council and provides an efficient service for the whole school community. A range of healthy food, prepared daily, is available for our students.
